Discover how to make eye-catching plant prints using real leaves and linocut designs. In this workshop you will learn how to design a linocut block and produce your own unique limited edition prints to take home.
You’ll start by using real leaves to create some beautiful plant prints. Ink is rolled onto leaves and then delicately printed onto paper using a hand burnishing technique.
The second half of the workshop will be spent making a small linocut block. You will use lino cutting tools to carve a leaf or flower design. Then using a range of colour printing inks you will print onto paper using a specialist printing press. This creative print workshop is perfect for complete beginners or people who have done some print making before.
